Nigerian singer, Wizkid Loses Mum
Multiple award-wining Nigerian singer, Wizkid has suffered the unfortunate loss of his mother.
The passing of Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of the singer, was confirmed to have occurred at approximately 1:30 AM on Friday.
The news was confirmed by Wizkid’s longstanding manager, Sunday Are, to The PUNCH who shared that Mrs Balogun peacefully passed away during the early hours of Friday.
Indeed, this is a deeply saddening occurrence for Wizkid and his family. Mrs Balogun was not only the mother of Wizkid but also the beloved parent of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
